Happy Birthday

I need to take a brief time out from my political ramblings to wish my son, Jason, a happy birthday. He turns 24 today -- hardly seems possible. He is a graduate student in Missouri working toward a doctorate degree in physical therapy. I am very proud of him, as well as my other son, Matt, who is advancing rapidly in his career, and my daughter, Ramona, who is graduating from GWU in May with a master's degree in public health policy and will be going to law school in the fall.

What a crew. They are one of the main reasons our political choices are so important.

Have a great day, Jason.

(P.S., I know this is no substitute for a birthday gift. We will deal with that later when you are in Texas.)
