Don't know which is worse ...

As I am sure most of you have heard by now, VP-Elect Mike Pence went to a showing of Hamilton, the broadway musical, one night this week.  At the conclusion of the show and as Pence was leaving, the cast, led by the actor who portrays Aaron Burr, delivered a message to the VP-Elect thanking him for coming and imploring him to be inspired to protect the interests of all Americans.  It was no more than a few hours before Donald Trump was attacking the actors for harassing Mr. Pence and complaining that "the theater should always be a safe place".

Today, several days after the occurrence, Trump is still tweeting angrily and Pence is saying he wasn't offended by the event.

I can't decide which is worse -- Trump attacking the Hamilton cast for exercising their constitutional right of expression or Pence claiming not to be offended by an African-American man asking that he and his fellow cast members be treated with dignity just like every other American.

Shouldn't we be comfortable that all of America is a safe place for all Americans -- not just the theater.  Come on, man.
